Bitter sweet memories

This is the layout I made in honor of Alexander's 20th Birthday. I need to explain the title it has meaning to myself and my precious son. When each of my children were born the first song I hear before or after they were born was " Our " song in the case of Alex his father and I were in a Heavy metal phase, the song I heard was " Little Fighter by White Lion"










There are two forms of journaling on here one is visible the other hidden.

Happy Birthday My beautiful Angel Alex. 20 years ago today you came into my life and stole my heart. I miss you more everyday , my heart aches. I hope you are celebrating with Ooma somewhere. I'll love you forever I'll like you for always as long as I'm living my baby you'll be.

No Place Like home................... OWL

Hehehe like the title.. I am going to show you a card today featuring an image by Laura Macy called No Place Like Home Owl. You can find this stamp at Queen Kat Designs. I made an easel card and I used something different on this card I think it really worked. I bought a bottle of wine a few weeks ago and they put this plastic netting on the bottle to protect it well I used it on my card. I love the effect so without further ado here is

Queen Kat Designs

I definitely work on the best team around I love working with QKD stamps. The owner Vicki is the bomb. She is very generous and so very good hearted and good natured I love her to bits. Very sad time for me..

On Friday January 20,2012 at 3:20 pm my beautiful kitty Muffassa passed away at the age of 17. It totally broke my heart. I knew he was going to pass but I wanted to be there to stroke his head when he died but i was at work when he took his last breath. But he was surrounded by my children who grew up with him and they made sure he knew he was loved...

I have been crying everyday since Friday because Muffassa was one of the only beings in the world who loved me unconditionally no matter what. He was there to comfort me when my son Alexander passed away, now Muffassa is with Alex loving him.

I created this layout of my Beautiful special King Muffassa to show people what he meant to me. He may have been "just" a cat to other people but to me he was my world. I love you old friend and I will miss you ever so much. Thank you for loving me and allowing me to be a part of your world. Rest in Peace Muffassa.

Wow New Year

Where has the time gone... I have been a really bad blogger, I have not kept up with my blogging like I should. I just haven't had any mojo or get up and go for quite some time. But i think I have licked that problem in one week I created 2 layouts and i am going to share them with you now.
