Sad Rainy Day

Today is a sad day for me and the weather is rainy so it makes it all the more depressing. Today is the 7 th anniversary of my sweet son Alexander's passing. I was at work today for maybe just over a half an hour I could not cope the tears just started coming and wouldn't stop. I came home and made a tribute page to my boy it helped ease som of my ache..

13 Days Of Halloween Blog hop Day 10

Welcome to day 10 of the 13 Days Of Halloween Blog hop sponsored by Queen Kat designs. All Images on the blogs can be found at Katstamps.com. Today's theme is labels and I think I did fairly well with this image I chose Raven Claw Tea to work with and I am really pleased with how it came out.

I actually altered a tea container to make my label stand out more and look like a real tea container. I used Black Bazzill and Echo Park's Apothecary Line. I also used my copics and Tim Holtz Distress Crackle Paint Rock Candy to give it an aged look.

I decide to do something a bit different I made a shutter card and OMG I am in love with this technique I showed the card at work and already I have orders for Christmas cards I was very surprised. But anyway here is the card I made. It's called Only Ghoul In The World ( I ripped of Rhinna's Only Girl in the world hehehe) I used Echo park's Apothecary line on this card it was the perfect choice.
