It's Starting to look like Spring

Thank God!! I really am sick of winter and snow yuck!!! I just want the warm weather to come. I just don't like what we have to go through first to get it. I hate mud and muck my kids are already trucking it in the house it really is awful. I am going to be scrapping this weekend which I am happy about since I don't have to work. I'm going to make a card that was inspired by Shanna of bloggity blog my next thirty years ( her blog) she made this cute VW bug card and I thought I would try my hand at it this weekend because my BFF's b-day is March 17 and I want to make something special for her. Anyway not much else is going on right now except I will have 3 little boys under the age of 8 years old home for the next week because of March Break UGH!!! I definately won't be getting any sleep, I will be going in for my afternoon shift quite exhausted lol oh well I will let you know how I fair.

Today is a Sad Day

Today in the wee hours of the morning my girly girl ( my sweet kitty) Jezzabell or as I called her Princess Jezzabellie, passed away. She was such a sweetheart and very loving little girl and I will miss her dearly, it took me 9 years of working with her to show her that she could trust me and that I truly loved her she was always so shy and skittish in the lazt 2 years she finally became the cat she was meant to be she was sweet and loving. Good bye my Princess Mommy will miss you dearly I love you.

Well It's A new Year

And I am finally updating my blog after lord knows how many months. Anyway 2008 was an ok year for me I was on my first design team and I loved it Thanks Hannah and Lori for giving me the opportunity to be part of such a fabulous Design Team and community.


I also got addicted to the Twighlight series by Stephanie Meyer in 2008 and what a wonderful addiction it is I just love Edward Cullen.. Just don't tell my husband that heheheh.





My son Andrew had surgery on his ears in the fall of this year and I got some cute after pics of him in the recovery room. so here are his pictures you can see his progression from being groggy to fully alert

I didn't do as much scrapping as I wanted to but I vow to make up for that in 2009. I have applied to a couple of DT's we shall see what happens I guess.

Well I have some very exciting news I have been honored with the task of being part of a Design Team near me I am now a proud member of the Scrappiong Turtle Design Team. I am sooooo thrilled I am considering this to be my first DT because the previous one I never got a kit and they are no longer around...
But Hannah and Lori of the Turtle are fabulous and I am soi ecxcited to be working with the DT.

Design Team Call-2008

This is for a Board I am a moderator on

Priceless Scrapbooks currently has several Design team member opportunities available. We are looking for individuals who can and will meet deadlines, are creative, enjoy being on a message board and contributing to a team environment. http://pricelessscrapbooks.forumcircle.com/portal.php REQUIREMENTS
1. Our Design Team members will be asked to: Commit to a 6-month term to start. After the 6 month term has commenced, the current members will have an option to remain on the DT team pending performance in the current term, and at the discresion of the Site Administrators and the Company in which you will design for. (Hence, we want to keep our cream of the crop and add to it!)
2. Design either layouts, cards, altered items based on your monthly assignment as instructed by the Company Representative, Site Admin and/or DT Coordinator.
3. The projects you create each month will be used to showcase manufacturer products, in our galleries, in our monthly newsletter, and in other promotions as desired. The monthly kit you receive will be sponsored by a specific company and we appreciate any positive advertising that company receives.
4. You will also be required to participate by completing a class, creating challenges, be active in crops (thus meaning being there during the crop every other month), actively comment/chat/encourage, etc on message board.
5. Post question/poll threads (LOTD, QOTD, etc/ if applicable) in the daily forum and create a monthly contest challenge on a rotation with other design team members.
6. You will also be required to contribute to a monthly newsletter (rotation basis not every month) an article, tips/technique, pick and highlight a member from our message board, etc.
7. Post additional projects in their own personal design team gallery.
8. Participate in forum discussions on a daily basis to help facilitate the growth of our online community. The community involvement is very important to us here at Priceless Scrapbooks, so we ask that each member try their best to devote time to our forum and gallery every day.
9. It is your message board as a design team. We ask you to watch for negative comments, spammers, etc and alert either the Site Administrator or the Assistant Site Admin/ Coordinator. 10. Promote Priceless Scrapbooks to friends, family, and colleagues to help facilitate the growth of our online store, our newsletter registration, our gallery and our forum.
